YouTube has introduced new safety features for teenagers
Restricted mode on YouTube prevents unwanted or obscene videos from being viewed. As a result, teenagers can use YouTube safely without their parents noticing. But by reviewing users' video viewing history and automatically showing videos on different topics, teenagers are forced to repeatedly watch different videos that are harmful to mental health. So this time YouTube has launched a new security facility for teenagers in their recommendation system.
According to YouTube, many teenagers compare themselves to others by watching different videos. They are gradually affected mentally. Therefore, recently, after discussing with various psychologists and researchers, initiatives have been taken to launch this new security facility. The introduction of this feature has brought changes to YouTube's recommendation algorithm for teenagers. As a result, YouTube will not recommend watching any videos that are harmful to the mental health of teenagers.
In addition to this new facility, YouTube will send warnings to teenagers if they watch videos on YouTube continuously for a long time. Although initially launched in the United States, YouTube authorities said that this facility will be launched for teenagers in all countries.
