11 Americans killed in Hamas attack, US among detainees: Biden

 

US President Joe Biden said on Monday that 11 Americans were killed in an attack by Hamas, a Palestinian liberation armed organization.

In a statement, Biden also said that he believed that the Americans were among those detained by Hamas.

White House national security spokesman John Kirby later said it was unclear whether Americans were among those detained by Hamas. Kirby also said that he could not say for sure whether Americans were among those detained by Hamas.

Biden said, the State Department is warning about the security of the Israelis who are now in the US. Consular is also providing assistance. For those who want to leave Israel, travel by air and land is facilitated.

Last Saturday morning, the Palestinian armed organization Hamas launched a major attack on Israel. Israel launched massive airstrikes in response to this move by the Gaza ruling group Hamas. In four days so far 900 Israelis have been killed and 2,600 injured.

According to the Ministry of Health of Gaza, 687 Palestinians were killed and 3 thousand 726 were injured in the Israeli attack.
