There is no electricity, Gaza is in darkness, can Hamas continue to fight against Israel?

The Palestinian city of Gaza plunged into darkness in the atmosphere of war. Only one power plant there has run out of fuel. So electricity is not being supplied. The news agency Reuters reported this information.

With no electricity in Gaza, residents now have to rely on diesel-powered generators. Communication systems are also shaky in cities without electricity. People in Gaza are not able to charge mobile phones. Water is not being supplied to any part of the city. Elevators or any other electrical equipment are not working in any multi-storey. Meanwhile, Israel has continued to shell Palestinian cities.

Authorities in Gaza had earlier warned that power plants were running out of fuel. But the fuel could not be procured. They said that the power plant was shut down around 2 pm local time on Wednesday due to lack of fuel. Within an hour, the entire city was plunged into darkness. Without electricity, Hamas forces may have trouble continuing to fight against Israel.

A resident of Gaza told the BBC, "We are in a difficult time. No water, no internet, no electricity. We can't even go to the market to buy anything. Because bombs can fall at any moment. Common people should be exempted from this war.''

Medical services in hospitals are feared to be disrupted due to lack of electricity. Right now, many people injured in the war are undergoing treatment in the hospital.

The war started in West Asia when the Palestinian armed group Hamas attacked Israel. Israel retaliated by declaring war on Hamas. More than 3,500 people have died in the war so far.
